DR. W. FRANK KING

Chairman

Dr. W. Frank King, a private investor, has decades of expertise in technology development and integration. During his career spanning over 30 years in the information technology industry, Dr. King spent 19 years with IBM where he was responsible for the development of IBM's relational database technology (SQL) and was subsequently promoted to the role of Vice President of Development for the personal computing division. From 1988 to 1992, Dr. King was the Senior Vice President of Development of Lotus Development Corporation, an IBM company. In 1992, Dr. King joined PSW Technologies as Chief Executive Officer, led the company through a successful IPO and retired in 1998 to be a private investor. Dr. King received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Princeton University, his Master's Degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, and his Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida.

DON DELOACH

President and CEO – with Aleri since 2002

Don was formerly President and CEO of YOUcentric, a leading provider of enterprise Customer Relationship Management software, until November 2001 when YOUcentric was acquired by J.D. Edwards. During his tenure, YOUcentric raised significant venture capital and substantially grew their revenue and customer base. Prior to YOUcentric, Don spent five years at Sybase, a provider of database, middleware, and development tools, most recently as the Vice President for North American Geographic Sales, Telesales, Channel Sales, and Marketing. Prior to Sybase, Don held various management and sales positions with Prime Computer, Bull Information Systems, and Hitachi Data Systems. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.

GERALD E. STARR

Board Member, Former CEO of IPC/IxNet

Gerald Starr was Co-Founder and advisor to Lexar LLC.  He guided the global VOIP strategy for this start up company and positioned the company in the marketplace for sale to Westcom Corporation in 2006.  Prior to that, Mr. Starr served as President and CEO of IPC Information Systems until 2000 when it was sold to Global Crossing.  The company was the world's leading supplier of trader turret/trading floor support systems and network services to the financial community worldwide servicing 43 countries. From 1997 to 1998, Gerald was President of the IPC Trading Systems Division. From 1996 to 1997, he was IPC's Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering.  Gerald founded Bridge Electronics, Inc. in 1987 and built it into a leading provider of digital open line speaker systems to the foreign exchange trading industry. Bridge Electronics was acquired by IPC in 1995.  Previously, Gerald founded Turret Equipment Corporation in 1980 and sold it to Tie Communications in 1984, where he remained until 1987. He currently resides on several boards, primarily in the technology area.

RICHARD SMITH

General Partner, Allegra Partners

Rick Smith has been Managing Partner/General Partner of six venture capital funds since 1981. He had direct responsibility for identification, completion, and ongoing supervision of investments in these portfolios with combined capital of nearly $350 million. From 1979 to 1981, Rick was Senior Investment Manager at Citicorp Venture Capital, Ltd. From 1974 to 1979, Rick worked in the International Money Management Group of J.P. Morgan. He has received a BA in History from Harvard University. He is co-author of the book Treasury Management; A Practitioner's Handbook, John Wiley & Sons, 1980. He is currently a director of several private companies.

FRED MULDER

Former Chairman and Managing Director, Greenfield Capital Partners

Fred Mulder was previously the Chairman and Managing Director of Greenfield Capital Partners N.V., an independent private equity and corporate finance group headquartered in The Netherlands with a subsidiary in New York, and is currently Chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee of Greenfield’s NEThave N.V. fund (focused on Internet/e-commerce enabling technology/telecom) and Berghave N.V. fund (focused on turnarounds). He is on the Board of Directors of LB International, the leading international fully integrated digital agency network for marketing and technology solutions.  He is currently a director of several other public and private companies, including Spyker Cars.  From 1981 to 1991 Fred held positions of Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer and board member of various companies until he joined Greenfield Capital Partners in 1991. During Fred's early career he worked at Rank Xerox for 18 years where he was promoted to Director International Marketing. He has a BA and MBA from Harvard University.

EDWARD CHANDLER

Founder and Managing Director, Portage Venture Partners, LLC

Edward Chandler is a Founder and Managing Director of Portage Venture Partners, LLC, a venture capital investment firm with a portfolio that includes early-stage ventures and companies pursuing opportunities in software, electronic commerce, information services, hardware peripherals, telecommunications, biotechnology, and medical products. Prior to forming Portage, Chandler was a founder/managing principal of Prairie Capital, a venture capital firm formed to acquire a portfolio from the private equity investment subsidiaries of Continental Bank. He joined Continental Illinois' venture capital affiliates in 1984, has served as a Director of many public and privately held companies including HNC Software, Meridian Data, and Datawatch and was an Associate with the Boston Consulting Group. Chandler holds an MBA from Harvard University, graduating with High Distinction as a Baker Scholar, and earned a BA in economics, magna cum laude, from Yale University.
