Interfaces and Adapters

Integration of system components should be as painless as possible. In many cases, the Aleri Streaming Platform can be non-intrusively integrated with existing systems. As long as there's a way to get data out of your existing system, you can stream it or load it into Aleri. Similarly, the Aleri Streaming Platform can output data in whatever format and via whatever mechanism (with the use of adapters) you need to make it easy to get the results to where you need them.

Aleri provides a range of off-the-shelf adapters for common environments and data sources including TIBCO, JMS, ODBC, Reuters, and others. Our list is constantly growing, so check with us if there’s a specific adapter you need. We also provide a pub/sub interface for writing customer adapters that available for C++, Java, and .NET.

Other interfaces include:

• User Defined Function Interface - for linking external function libraries that can be called from within expressions in an event model running on the Aleri Streaming Platform.
• On-Demand Query Interface - available as a C++ library, an ODBC driver and a JDBC driver, accepts SQL "snapshot" queries and returns the results.
• Command and Control Interface - an XML RPC interface for controlling and monitoring the event processor.
